MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 13 DAYS!

anyways, today i thought quite alot about fantasies.
like mr darcy from pride and prejudice?
maybe he aint as good as we all think he is.
all of us mr darcy lovers have each our own interpretation of who he is.
guess that's how it is with our own 'perfect boyfriend'?
we think we want our future partners to be 'this this this', but what we fail to realise, is that the person God has destined for us to be with, might not be what we want.
so when we meet our future partners, we tend to measure him/her up to our expectations, our benchmarks.

another classic example, would be edward cullen.
everyone knows him, he's every girl's fantasy.
he's 'perfect'. or so everyone thinks. but who exactly set the benchmark for 'perfect'?
everyone has their own perception of how edward looks like, so when the movie came out, some people said 'wow! so hot!" but others, like myself, go "whattt. ew. what a disgrace." it's all because we dont all share the same idea of how he looks like isnt it?
same goes for how we all have different views of others.

then again, the question, is fantasy real?
many may shout "of course not!" in an instance.
but few would say yes.
but why cant it be real?
fantasies are real. they are real, in our hearts.
in your hearts and mine, edward cullen/ mr darcy is real.


i love a book that challenges my beliefs(=
i used to be crazy over mr darcy.
until i read "me and mr darcy".
mr darcy was my first love. i read about him when i was 9.
he was thoughtful, sweet, had impeccable manners, and was the most gentlemanly guy i knew!
chivalry, is DEFINITELY a top in my 'future bf requirements' list. haha
im such an old fashioned girl.
